In the past, many emerging markets initiatives have tried to address shortfalls in 3 Pillars impacting national housing markets: (i) housing finance, (ii) housing development, (iii) rental housing, but developmental impacts have been slow to come.
Our thesis is that all 3 Pillars need to be addressed together - coherently in strategic fashion.
Affordability is achieved through coordinated investments in all 3 Pillars.
